The following list of problems and "bugs" in version 3.0 of the PDF file for TUMOL was thoughtfully provided in March 2002, by Tom Karpf. These were fixed by version 3.1 of the PDF. Thanks for your patience.

1) On page 205 you state that the target circle represents the view through a Telrad finder. Could you also explicitly state the sizes of the circles in degrees? It looks like the outer circle is about 3 degrees.

A: FIXED. The smallest is half a degree, the middle circle is 2 degrees and the largest is 4 degrees

2) I was going to suggest that you explicitly mention that the orientation of those pages is with North at the top, but that seems somewhat silly. Of course, you could always state that in the map box on page 205.

A: Good point. (Not fixed, because the orientation is not always perfect North for graphical reasons.)

3) In the Season View pages (202-204), is this based on 9 PM, 12 AM, or some range?

A: To be honest, I don't recall. I consulted several sources as to the best season to view any constellation, and compiled the results. You'll notice the objects wind up being group loosely by right ascension, and that is the determining factor as much as anything.

4) On the bottom of page 203, you appear to be missing the word 'Winter' in FALL / EARLY.

A: FIXED.

5) In the Constellation view, you have the definitions of the Bino Difficulty on the bottom of the page, but you don't give the Bino Difficulty in the tables.

A: FIXED.

6) Your page numbers disappear between 102 and 112 (i.e. when the pages numbers would be 100 to 110).

A: FIXED.

7) As the page margins current configured, many of the pages get somewhat mangled when you three-hole-punch the document.

A: FIXED.
